THE POWER PROJECT

The village of La Vallee had no electricity when the school was built, so we undertook a project to bring electricity to the school and the village. We currently have 6 solar panels connected to a generator, inverter, and 24 batteries which provides enough electricity for 5 hours of daily use. 

We are expanding this project to include 4 more solar panels and 12 more batteries, which will generate electricity for 24 hours a day. It is our goal to be able to provide computers for the students in the future.
